For guaranteed snow, head to a resort that has access to a glacier and some high altitude skiing. These resorts often are open until late into the season, and some, like Tignes, Les Deux Alpes and Zermatt offer glacier skiing throughout the summer.

La Grand Motte offers glacier skiing high above Tignes, with access via a fast underground funicular and a the Grand Motte cable car. Les Deux Alpes
The glacier du Mont de Lans offers high altitude skiing up to 3,570m. During the summer skiing can be enjoyed on the large terrain park. Val Thorens
There is skiing on two glaciers above VT; the suitably named 'Glacier' chair takes you onto the Glacier de Peclet and there is also access, at 3,130m onto the Glacier de Thorens. Zermatt
Zermatt's glacier is up on Klein Matterhorn and offers gentle skiing year all round. Saas Fee
The glacier at Saas-Fee accessible by the underground Metro Alpinhas has 20km of pistes. Kaprun
The Kitzsteinhorn glacier, topping out at 3,030m offers good skiing for different levels of skier. The Gletscher terrain park on the glacier is usually open all year round. Mayrhofen
The Hintertux Glacier is Austria's only year round ski resort. It is about 45 minutes away from Mayrhofen, and is accessible from the other Zillertal ski resorts of Eggalm, Rastkogel, Finkenberg, Penken and Mount Ahorn. Solden
Solden has the Tiefenbach and Rettenbach galciers linked by the Glacier Express
gondola, and there is almost 40km of piste skiing on them both. The Rettenbach glacier has small terrain park.
