The scenery in Verbier is absolutely breathtaking. There's a massive array of skiing throughout the area, with unlimited off-piste and great black runs for advanced skiers. Boarders and freestyle skiers can also spend their Verbier skiing holiday enjoying the medium sized snow park. Tuition for better skiers is of the highest order in Verbier, while the lift system has been constantly upgraded since 1994.
Verbier itself offers an excellent variety of restaurants, extremely lively nightlife and plenty for non-skiers to do. Any disadvantages? The skiing lower down in Verbier can be poor as a result of the sun. There can often also be considerable queues. Prices are high for most things on Verbier ski holidays, even for Switzerland, and the Verbier ski accommodation won't be winning architectural awards any time soon.
Nonetheless, Verbier is a seriously good skiing holiday destination and the views are among the best in the world.
