Cervinia has 200km of its own runs. Because of its high altitude, it has a long season and great snow. Cervinia ski holidays are particularly well suited to intermediates. The slopes are superb for cruising and mileage skiing. Beginners will also find masses to entertain them on a Cervinia ski holiday. Advanced skiers will need to head over into Switzerland for extended challenges; this does necessitate purchasing a more expensive lift pass that includes Zermatt.

Cervinia ski holidays still don't cater particularly well for non-skiers, although many of the less attractive buildings constructed by Mussolini have had a revamp so a wander round the town is now a more pleasurable experience. If dining is an important aspect of your ski holiday, Cervinia has some good restaurants on and off the mountain, although prices can be steep. Cervinia's après ski is lively and there are some good night life spots.
