Skiing Holidays in Val d'Isere

A ski holiday in Val d'Isère won't disappoint as the resort is one of the real 'big boys', justifiably ranked up there with the best ski resorts in the world. Excellently linked with Tignes (together making up L'Espace Killy), there are 300km of varied pistes to be expored on your ski or snowboard holiday. With this vast ski domain, all abilities are catered for, with top-draw skiers and boarders being particularly spoilt as well as off-piste lovers.
Val d'Isère Ski Holidays: The Skiing
Val d'Isère skiing holidays cater brilliantly for the experienced skier. You can follow the 1992 Olympic course, the 'Face', or explore off-piste (remember to take a guide). There is also plenty to keep beginners and intermediates busy, with long wide blues and unaggressive reds, but, be warned, some of the piste grading is inaccurate with some greens being more like tough reds… The Grande Motte glacier above Tignes means year-round ski holidays and the high altitude brings good, regular snow.

Val d'Isère Ski Holidays: Off the Snow
Take great skiing on stunning mountains, add in great après-ski, strong ski schools and pricey but good restaurants and it's not difficult to see why Val d'Isère is so popular. Because of this, the resort can get busy, even though the lift system is first-class and constantly being upgraded. The range of ski holiday accommodation is vast, and there is also lot's to do for the non-skiers in Val d'Isère.

Overall Val d'Isère is a great ski holiday resort and, most importantly, has absolutely fantastic skiing.
