The Job:Conjuring up breakfast, tea and an evening meal, 6 days a week. Cleaning, bed-making and washing up. Controlling the budget of the chalet. Shopping. Looking after the welfare of the guests. Guest ratio is a maximum of 12:1; larger chalets will have chalet helpers.
The Requirements: Catering experience - most companies will ask you for a menu plan. Some will want a qualification. A second language is useful. Minimum age is usually 18+, though some companies state 21+. Stamina, enthusiastic and an outgoing personality.
