| 1. Most important! |
Emergency Medical Cover & Emergency Assistance
You should be looking for around £10 million to cover the following:
- Helicopter rescue
- Mountain rescue
- Medical expenses
- Repatriation / air-ambulance
- Multilingual assistance
- Friend or relative assistance

| 3. Off-piste |
|
Wandering off-piste carries risks, including financial ruin if you're
not properly insured. Not all policies will cover off-piste skiing as
standard, those that do will usually insist on the company of a qualified
guide or instructor. In France, the Carte Neige will cover you for off-piste that is not out
of bounds and you can buy this at most lift ticket offices. However, if you do want cover off-piste - within resort boundaries then why not take up the exclusive offer that ifyouski's insurance partner - DOGTAG - are offering.
