Chalet Hotel Moris
Features
The Moris is a small chalet hotel that has the sociable feel of a chalet. The views are great, the location perfect. But what makes the Moris special is its atmosphere.
You get the feeling that people have been enjoying themselves here for years. The Moris feels like a club, instantly familiar and comfortable, friendly and utterly unpretentious. The kind of place you make life long friends, where you settle in for a week and then come back year after year - as many guests do.
The Moris was one of the first hotels to be built in Val d'Isère and it wears its age well. Lovely old doors with polished brass fittings open on to bedrooms that are simple but likeable. There are plenty of single rooms, and most rooms have a bath or shower.
Up on the first floor the dining room is a warm and colourful room with big group tables and lovely views. The bar is small but fun, perfect for collapsing after a hard day's skiing. Then, when you really want to let the good times roll, there's the Moris Pub on the ground floor - a big American style bar with live music.
The bedrooms are simple but comfortable and there are plenty of single rooms available. Most rooms have their own bath or shower and some have WCs. Single and room share options are available for solo travellers.

Val d'Isère Resort Info
Val d'isère skiing
Val d'isère is justifiably ranked up there with the best resorts in the world. Lift linked with Tignes with which Val d'isère makes up L'Espace Killy, there are 300km of varied pistes to please everyone from beginners to pros. Expert skiers and snowboarders are particularly spoilt for choice in Val d'isère with the 1992 Olympic course, the 'Face', plenty of off-piste (remember to take a guide) and a world class snow park.
Val d'isère ski resort
Val d'isère has not only world class skiing but also boasts some world class après ski. The Folie Douce at the top of la Daille gondola is probably the most famous of Val d'isère's après haunts but is far from the only one. Restaurants on and off the mountain are pricey but good, which added to a good range of accommodation and lot's to do for the non-skiers makes it easy to see Val d'isère's attraction .
