Chalet Juniper
Features
Brilliantly located, on the edge of the old village, three minutes’ walk beyond the church, with the front door on the road and the other end of the building near the silent forest, skiable-back-to and just by bus stops for the free Train Rouge services to both Le Fornet and the nursery slopes. They are a couple of minutes from the Moris Pub.
Chalet Juniper is well-built and well soundproofed. The atmosphere in Le Grizny, our own little three-star résidence, is always the best in town. Juniper is on the top floor, Jasmine and Jacaranda are in the middle, and a regiment of our staff live in the dungeons.
Juniper has a large sitting room (with its own bath and loo) and a dining room with a single vast table, where breakfast seems to last until tea-time, tea runs into dinner, and dinner carries on until long after the last candle has burnt down.

Expert skiers and snowboarders are particularly spoilt for choice in Val d'isère with the 1992 Olympic course, the 'Face', plenty of off-piste (remember to take a guide) and a world class snow park.
Val d'isère ski resort
Val d'isère has not only world class skiing but also boasts some world class après ski. The Folie Douce at the top of la Daille gondola is probably the most famous of Val d'isère's après haunts but is far from the only one. Restaurants on and off the mountain are pricey but good, which added to a good range of accommodation and lot's to do for the non-skiers makes it easy to see Val d'isère's attraction .
