Chalet Hotel Cygnaski
Features
The Cygnaski is always a great hit with families. They appreciate its friendly and easy-going atmosphere, as well as its overall spaciousness and convenience. There's room for everyone to do their own thing here. The large lounge, which wraps round a big log fire with a stone chimney, provides a warm and inviting place to wind down.
The bar, which is separate from the lounge, is small but definitely cosy and perfect for an aperitif before joining one of the group tables in the wood panelled restaurant. This being Val d'Isère the views are, of course, breathtaking. The crèche and the nursery are on the ground floor and they are huge - colourful, well equipped and comfortable enough to make you wish you were six years old again.
Similarly the bedrooms, decorated in white with large windows, have lots of space and many of them can take extra beds for children. Bathrooms are ensuite and modern. Access to the slopes is easy, with a short bus ride to the La Daille lifts in one direction and the Le Fornet lifts and nursery slopes in the other. The centre of Val d'Isère is just a few minutes walk away.

Val d'isère is justifiably ranked up there with the best resorts in the world. Lift linked with Tignes with which Val d'isère makes up L'Espace Killy, there are 300km of varied pistes to please everyone from beginners to pros. Expert skiers and snowboarders are particularly spoilt for choice in Val d'isère with the 1992 Olympic course, the 'Face', plenty of off-piste (remember to take a guide) and a world class snow park.
Val d'isère ski resort
Val d'isère has not only world class skiing but also boasts some world class après ski. The Folie Douce at the top of la Daille gondola is probably the most famous of Val d'isère's après haunts but is far from the only one. Restaurants on and off the mountain are pricey but good, which added to a good range of accommodation and lot's to do for the non-skiers makes it easy to see Val d'isère's attraction .
