This attractive chalet was lovingly hand built by its owner, Luis Rivas, who is justly proud of his beautiful home. It also funds his enviable life-style of skiing in the winter and surfing in Bali during the summer! Built of local Savoyarde stone and wood it creates a warm and inviting ambience. The chalet has proved very popular. It is conveniently located in a quiet location just 200 metres from the Bellevarde lifts and nursery slopes and approximately 5 minutes walk from the resort centre.

There are five bedrooms including the master suite. This is a large twin/double with a mezzanine sleeping platform so space for a child (or two!) if required. The master suite also boasts a fireplace, flat screen TV, seating area and a balcony so could also be treated as a separate sitting room.

Guests love this charming chalet, the living room has a lovely warm, welcoming feel with plenty of natural light, and the huge comfy sofas just invite you to relax by the open fireplace. French doors open on to the terrace which provides a natural sun trap. The one double and three twin bedrooms are all ensuite and benefit from spa baths, great for your end of day aches.

Lift linked with Tignes with which Val d'isère makes up L'Espace Killy, there are 300km of varied pistes to please everyone from beginners to pros. Expert skiers and snowboarders are particularly spoilt for choice in Val d'isère with the 1992 Olympic course, the 'Face', plenty of off-piste (remember to take a guide) and a world class snow park.

The Folie Douce at the top of la Daille gondola is probably the most famous of Val d'isère's après haunts but is far from the only one.
