Chalet Le Bouchot

  • Terrace/Balcony
  • Fireplace
  • Catered chalet

Chalet Bouchot is on three floors spread over an apartment and as you enter the main entrance you instantly feel the warmth and cosiness of this chalet. The first of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, a twin en-suite, there are a further three bedrooms on the first floor. There is a spacious twin with an extra bed and has en-suite facilities as well as a balcony with fantastic views; there is a smaller twin also with en-suite facilities and a double bedroom that has its own private bathroom, from the bedroom balcony and windows you can view the Meribel valley. The chalet has ample space for the 8/9 people that can occupy it.

The second floor is given over entirely to the open-plan living and dining area, attractively furnished, you will feel at home seated around a log fireplace, giving you the perfect chalet atmosphere. The floor to ceiling picture windows on two sides of the living room open onto a spacious sun-terrace, which provides fantastic views across the valley. There is also a hot-tub on the terrace providing the perfect finishing touch.

Location

Meribel is a large and scattered resort and there are many smaller villages such as Raffort, Chandon, Village and Les Allues, upto 6kms away, from the centre. This chalet is located in the centre, however the centre does not mean that the shops, bars and main lift area are all on your doorstep. The main lift area is slightly beyond this and although you could walk, there is no need as a minibus service is operated. The chalet is situated in a quiet area away from noise and traffic, but central enough to be a short walk to the centre. Our minibus service means that one of our drivers will take you from outside your chalet down to the main lift area and ski schools in the morning, its approximately a four minute ride, at the end of the day you can text your driver for a collection home, even from the Rond Point. It is less than a five minute walk to the shops and bars of an evening.

Méribel Resort Info

Méribel ski area

Known as the Heart of the Three Valleys, Méribel was founded by Peter Lindsay, a Scot, who developed the first commercial ski resort on the site occupied today. It has grown over the years to become one of the most popular resorts in the Alps with UK skiers. it's not difficult to see why!

Méribel is superbly located for quick access to all corners of the Three Valleys, itself the biggest linked ski area in Europe with over 600km of piste. Méribel provides the perfect combination of challenges for advanced skiers and cruising for beginners and intermediates. Put simply, there is no better ski area anywhere in the world than the Three Valleys and Méribel is slap bang in the middle of it all!

Méribel ski resort

Méribel Centre is the main hub of the resort, where you'll find an extensive choice of accommodation, shops, restaurants and one of the biggest and wildest apres ski and nightlife scenes in the Alps. From the legendary Rond Point (Ronnie) and Folie Douce to get the party started on the slopes before dinner, right through to O'Sullivan's which stays open almost until breakfast time... Méribel has been developed sympathetically over time, the result of which is an aesthetically pleasing resort of attractive wooden chalets.

Further up the valley is Méribel-Mottaret, which offers ultimate ski convenience as virtually every accommodation is slopeside, however don't expect to be able to party in Méribel Centre if you're staying up in Mottaret. Not quite as easy on the eye as Meribel but price and location are the main attractions for staying in Mottaret.

Méribel Village is a charming satellite village about a kilometre outside of Méribel on the road to La Tania. With a piste running down to the village and its own chairlift, plus a bus service that makes the nightlife in Méribel accesible, Village is another great value option for Méribel
