La Chaumière is an attractive, classically Savoyarde building. Each chalet will be staffed and run individually, but will share our in-chalet child care rooms, sauna and ski storage.
In a quiet cul-de-sac just off the village centre, the location is ideal for families. There is a footpath to the Mont Chéry lift avoiding the village centre altogether, and from there you can also catch the resort’s mini-train shuttle to the Chavannes lift across the village.
The chalet boasts stylish, comfortable interiors, with open-plan living/dining areas, a fireplace in each chalet and comfortable family bedrooms with plenty of bath and shower-rooms. Nursery and Snow Club rooms are on the ground floor in purpose-designed child care rooms, and it is also here that we will run our Cocoa Club in the evenings.

Child Discounts
Infant Charge (up to 1 year old) = £95 per week
Older children receive great discounts, when sharing their parents bedroom. Discounts will vary depending on number of children in family group and departure date so the following should be used as a guide only:
2-4 years old = 1st child Free (date depending) then up to either 30 or 50% off!
5-10 years old = 1st child Free (date depending) then up to either 30 or 40% off!
11-17 years old = 1st child up to either 25 or 40% off (date depending) then up to either 15 or 20% off!
Childcare
Our Child Care programme is now so extensive that at first glance it can appear complicated. To simplify your choice, our table shows a brief summary of each element that makes up the day and an indication for whom it is appropriate.
4 months to 3 years - All day care with qualified Nursery staff
3 to 4 years - Half-day ski-play, a toddler’s introduction to skiing
5 to 12 years -Sub-divided into ski lessons for a range of different ski abilities and age group levels
Supervised Lunch
3 to 12 years - Lunch with staff supervision 12-2 pm
8 to 12 years - Afternoon snowsports adventures with qualified instructors, including lunch
3 to 8 years - Half day activity club with our Snow Rangers, including lunch
6 to 12 years - Supervised evening club 7.30-10 pm
10 years plus - Evening club including après ski activities

Les Gets Resort Info
Les Gets skiing
Les Gets is part of the massive Portes du Soleil ski area, which gives you 650km of pistes to explore if you've got a spare month or two. Despite being situated at a fairly low altitude the snow record in Les Gets is excellent. The skiing offered is particularly good for beginners and intermediates, with some off-piste opportunities and a small snowpark for the more advanced - although with the rest of the Portes du Soleil on your doorstep even the best of the best will find something to entertain.
Les Gets ski resort
Les Gets is a particularly good choice for families, with great ski school provision for the little ones and ski-to-your-door accessibility. If you are looking for banging nightlife and non-skiing activities though, Les Gets probably isn't for you. There are a couple of clubs, but not the variety of nearby Morzine and Avoriaz.
