With an excellent piste-side location, the Hotel Les Grandes Alpes has a friendly and relaxed ambience with impeccable service and fabulous cuisine - the restaurant is recommended by the "Gault Millau" and Michelin Guides. There is also the beautiful, sunny terrace restaurant "La Pira". Meals include a delicious hot and cold buffet breakfast, 5-course evening meals with a choice of main course, dessert buffets and a fondue dinner once a week. There are also 3 themed evenings: Romantic, Savoyard and Seafood extravaganza.

The leisure facilities are excellent with an indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room with massage and beauty treatments available at a local charge.

Accommodation

All bedrooms have private baths and WC, bathrobes, hairdryer, internet link, satellite TV, safe, telephone and some have a balcony. Standard twin/double rooms are north facing whilst superior rooms have a south facing aspect. All twin/double bedrooms can accommodate a third bed suitable for a child only. Family suites are also available.

Courchevel 1850 Resort Info

The most expensive resort in the French Alps'? Only partially true. Sat next to Val Thorens and Méribel, Courchevel is the most easterly of the Trois Vallées (the ski maps are back to front!) It is made up of four separate parts, each with their own character.
The biggest village and arguably the jewel in Courchevel's crown, 1850 is the focal point of the resort, with a good selection of world-class hotels, restaurants and shopping. There are a good selection of less expensive accommodation options in town, especially with several British run chalet hotels.
