Chalet Estrella
Features
From the outside, Chalet Estrella is the epitome of a
traditional Alpine chalet; beautifully constructed from local wood
and stone and typical of the surrounding properties in this area.
Inside however, it is far from the traditional chalets of old. Designed
to our specification, this chalet boasts modern facilities, all rooms
en suite with hairdryers and a high standard of décor and comfort
throughout. It has a warm and inviting living/dining area with
exposed beams and ornate woodwork to admire, sofas you can sink
into, an open fire to warm the toes and satellite TV and DVD player to
keep the kids big and small entertained. To top it off there is an
outdoor hot tub to relax those tired limbs after a hard day exploring
the vast Three Vallees ski area.
Early booking is strongly recommended as chalets of this high
calibre in such a superb location are rare.

Location: Courchevel 1650. Recently built, this chalet is located in
a tranquil hillside setting with truly wonderful views, plus it is only
500 metres (approx.) from the centre of 1650. The chalet is also only
300m (approx.) to the new escalator which takes you straight to
the centre of 1650 and the lifts. Therefore, not only are the shops
and bars of this great resort close by, so too are the Ariondaz and
Marquis Lifts. The latter of which accesses (via connections) the
slopes of Courchevel 1850 and the Three Valles area. The slopes in
1650 tend to be quieter and less crowded and the snow holds on far
better here than anywhere else in Courchevel.
Courchevel 1650 Resort Info
'The most expensive resort in the French Alps'? Only partially true. Sat next to Val Thorens and Méribel, Courchevel is the most easterly of the Trois Vallées (the ski maps are back to front!) It is made up of four separate parts, each with their own character.
Courchevel 1650 straddles the main road up the valley and doesn't really capture the imagination of those travelling through, probably because its main attractions, an old village centre, lively bars and quiet chalets are hidden from view. A major bonus is the local slopes are usually less crowded than those above 1850.
