Silver Star Mountain Resort is a colourful Victorian village set in the north Okanagan with 100% ski-in ski-out accommodation.
It has runs for every kind of skier and boarder on its two mountain faces. The Vance Creek side of the mountain has long, gentle runs whilst the Putnam Creek side offers groomed and ungroomed double-blacks plus bumps. For snowboarders there are two half-pipes and night riding until 9pm.
Significant developments have seen the addition of two new high-speed lifts, including the Comet Six Pack Express, Canada's largest six person chairlift.
Best Small Resort of the Year
Silver Star was named North America's Best Small Resort of the Year in The Good Skiing and Snowboarding Guide 2004.
