Your Holiday Booking Confirmation. What happens next...?

Thank you for using IfYouTravel Ltd., trading as to book your ski holiday. We have acted as a booking agent for Neilson whose terms and conditions govern all aspects of your holiday. Please see Neilson Booking Conditions for more information.

Your booking is fully protected by the Travel Trust Association (TTA), no. Q1658.

What Now?

Soon after your booking, you will receive a booking confirmation email with an attached Booking Confirmation document which outlines the main aspects of your holiday. Please carefully check through this and if any details are incorrect, please get in touch immediately.

You will also receive, soon after your booking, an email from the Travel Trust with your Stand Alone Safe Seat Plan guarantee and a leaflet (both as .pdf attachments) explaining how the guarantee ensures that all your money which you have paid for your ski holiday is safely protected. For further details about this or the TTA, please visit

All group names (titles, first names and surnames only - NOT middle names) as per the passport/s are now required. If you have provided names already then please check your Booking Confirmation, checking EVERY name to ensure that it is spelt correctly (note - names can usually be amended free of charge if we are notified immediately after booking; if you do not notify us of any errors immediately then you may be liable for any name change fees applied by the tour operator/airline). Once you have checked all names, please respond to the booking confirmation email confirming that they are correct.

Your booking is subject to the terms and conditions of Neilson, the Tour Operator (or the Principal) with whom you have a contract. An invoice which confirms your booking will be sent to you as soon as it is received from Neilson.

What Next?

You must also complete the Advanced Passenger Information for all travelling members of your party by visiting (enter your Neilson’s booking reference number and date of travel, then click on the Advanced Passenger Information link at the top of the screen). This is best completed as soon as possible, but certainly no later than 1 week before departure. FAILURE TO COMPLETE THIS INFORMATION MAY RESULT IN DELAYS AT CHECK-IN AND EVEN REFUSAL TO BOARD THE PLANE. (The required information is as follows: all passenger first and surnames as per the passport (this should be the same as the information you have given us), passport number, passport issue and expiry date, passport country of issue, country of citizenship/nationality, date of birth and gender).

Changes/Added extras (ski carriage, ski hire etc)

Following your holiday booking you may want to add on certain extras (such as ski carriage, ski hire etc). This is best best done at the time of booking, but can be added later if required. However, any extras must be booked at least a week before departure. After this time you can usually still book any extras, but this will need to be done in resort via your Neilson rep.

It is worth noting that every time we add an item to a booking (or change any item, for example a dietary requirement) this generates a new invoice, which we will forward on to you. We would therefore strongly urge you to make any changes or added extras in one go this limits the number of invoices you will receive!

Any payment due, is required in a one-off payment. Please note, that we reserve the right to charge a fee of £15 for any add-on requests, if not done in a single transaction following your booking.

May we take this opportunity to remind you to arrange any necessary passport/visa/insurance requirements for your group’s forthcoming holiday, which is ultimately your responsibility.

Please note that flight times and flight details given at the time of booking (if applicable) should be regarded as provisional until you receive your tickets or travel itinerary. Times and other details may change even after you have received your tickets, subject to Neilson's terms and conditions.

Email Communication. Following your holiday booking we do the majority (in most cases, all) of communication - with regards to confirmations, invoicing, payment receipts, ticketing etc - by email. Email communication will only be made with the group leader, to their email address that we have on file. THE GROUP LEADER MUST THEREFORE INFORM US IF THERE IS A CHANGE TO THIS EMAIL ADDRESS so that we can update our systems. If not, they WILL miss out on vitally important communication regarding their holiday!

The balance for all holidays is due 12 weeks before the start date of your holiday. This date will be shown on your Booking Confirmation email. Please phone our Admin department on or before this date on 020 3384 3200 to pay this. Please ensure this is paid in one transaction, the lead name on the booking. We will require your name (as the lead name on the booking) and you will need to quote Our Booking Ref. If the lead name is unable to pay the final balance in one transaction there will be a small admin fee of £10 per additional transaction.

Please note that all holiday payments to us will be confirmed by an email transaction summary from our online payment system, 'Worldpay', confirming receipt. This will automatically be sent following payment, to your email address that we have on file.

Your tickets and invoice will be sent to you by post, shortly after you have made booking. If you do NOT receive these, please get in touch with our Admin department by using the contact us page (or phone us on 020 3384 3200).

Cancellations. If you or any member of your group needs to cancel their holiday, this has to be in writing (email is fine) by the group leader. You will then be advised of any cancellation charges and how you would like to proceed. Cancellations are based on Neilson's terms and conditions.

If you have any questions, or if there is anything else you require regarding your ski holiday please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Have a great time!

The Team.
