Chalet St Martin
St Anton Resort Info
Famous for its awesome skiing and equally awesome après ski, St Anton is mostly an experts' resort, with its serious off-piste, moguls and powder. St Anton's pistes tend to be undergraded, however, with first-class guiding and instruction the mountain can be enjoyed by most levels, apart, perhaps, from very beginners.
Although St Anton doesn't quite match the chocolate box reputation of other Austrian resorts, it does offer an exceptional range of après-ski, with bars and clubs galore. Restaurants can be a bit hit and miss, but as most of St Anton's visitors just want to get on with the party, a quick snack is all that's required. Off-snow activites are a little thin on the ground, although you can always jump on a train and explore Innsbruck which is only one hour away.

Snow Overview - Austria (snow news updated 04-Dec-2013)
Like much of Europe over the weekend Austria was rather mild and sunny in most areas. However the open resorts have plenty of existing snow so conditions are still excellent for this early in the season.
Obergurgl (77/170cm) has an exceptional base depth for the time of year and to have almost the whole area open on 2nd December is very impressive indeed. Much colder weather is coming later this week and this will allow them to run some snow cannons and further boost their snow depth.
St Anton (5/60cm) is also opening this coming weekend. While they don’t have as much snow as Obergurgl, their upper runs are still in great condition and when they open. Some snow is expected on Friday night after a mild and sunny week.
European Weather Outlook
A very dry and sunny week is expected for the majority of European resorts, with no fresh snow expected for the majority of Austria, France, Switzerland and Italy.
Temperatures will be mild for the time of year too with freezing levels around 2600m for much of the week.
