Our view: Easy access to resort centre and lifts, lovely spacious chalet, all bedrooms ensuite, sauna.

Fauner B is modern, well furnished and  extremely spacious,  particularly when you take into account the fact  it is just for 8 guests. The  bedrooms are large and roomy, all ensuite  and all with views  towards Rendl opposite. There is a comfortable open plan living and dining room and the chalet also benefits from a sauna with power showers, perfect after a hard day on the slopes.

Chalet Fauner is set into the hillside with views overlooking Rendl, it is an excellent location just 4 minutes walk downhill to the resort centre and the lifts yet in peaceful surroundings. Local Ski shop owner Alex Fauner created two lovely chalets - the 8 person chalet (Fauner B) on the upper floors or its big brother (Fauner A) on the lower floors, for up to 16 guests.

Chalet staff live in. Owner lives in self contained apartment on top floor.
Catering:
Breakfast - start your day with a hearty breakfast to fuel your day on the slopes, choose from a selection of cereals (not forgetting a bowl of Skiers porridge!), fresh fruit and yoghurts, freshly baked local bread and choice of preserves accompanied by fruit juices, tea and coffee. In addition, apart from chalet staff day off and change over day, and if you've got the room, enjoy a cooked breakfast!
Afternoon tea - on your return from the slopes, pop the kettle on and help yourself to a teatime treat with a slice (or two!) of delicious home-made cake or biscuits.
Dinner - canapes and aperitifs are followed by a delicious freshly cooked dinner with unlimited house wine until coffee to finish.

St Anton Resort Info

Famous for its awesome skiing and equally awesome après ski, St Anton is mostly an experts' resort, with its serious off-piste, moguls and powder. St Anton's pistes tend to be undergraded, however, with first-class guiding and instruction the mountain can be enjoyed by most levels, apart, perhaps, from very beginners.

Although St Anton doesn't quite match the chocolate box reputation of other Austrian resorts, it does offer an exceptional range of après-ski, with bars and clubs galore. Restaurants can be a bit hit and miss, but as most of St Anton's visitors just want to get on with the party, a quick snack is all that's required. Off-snow activites are a little thin on the ground, although you can always jump on a train and explore Innsbruck which is only one hour away.
