Our view: 1st class location for skiing, combined with the comfortable accommodation makes this chalet a great choice for skiers of all abilities!

This chalet is an old traditional building with a new exterior and a spacious homely feel. The attractive bedrooms, many with wooden panelling, all have basins and provide comfortable accommodation with traditional Austrian decor. Location

Nasserein: The piste is 30 metres (approx.) from the back of the property and a gentle 200 metre ski from here is the Nasserein Ski School and the Nassereinbahn Gondola. For much of the season it is possible, in normal snow conditions, to ski back to the chalet. In the picturesque hamlet of Nasserein, the oldest part of St Anton, Chalet Baren is a 10 minute stroll to the centre of this attractive and lively resort.

Meals

Start your ski day with fresh bread, a choice of preserves, cereals, porridge, yoghurts, fresh fruit, fruit juice as well as tea and coffee, plus a cooked option of eggs and one other hot item

Breakfast and dinner will be served on 5 out of 7 days (6 out of 7 days on departure date February 16th 2019) and a continental breakfast will be left out on 2 mornings.

St Anton Resort Info

Famous for its awesome skiing and equally awesome après ski, St Anton is mostly an experts' resort, with its serious off-piste, moguls and powder. St Anton's pistes tend to be undergraded, however, with first-class guiding and instruction the mountain can be enjoyed by most levels, apart, perhaps, from very beginners.

Although St Anton doesn't quite match the chocolate box reputation of other Austrian resorts, it does offer an exceptional range of après-ski, with bars and clubs galore. Restaurants can be a bit hit and miss, but as most of St Anton's visitors just want to get on with the party, a quick snack is all that's required. Off-snow activites are a little thin on the ground, although you can always jump on a train and explore Innsbruck which is only one hour away.
