Chalet Verwall
Features
Chalet Verwall's location is ideal, at the end of a short, quiet cul-de-sac off Obergurgl's main street and with easy access to and from the slopes. The accommodation is ideally suited to families, with all suites having two separate sleeping areas, private facilities and a small kitchenette.
Just 20m from the ski-room door you can step into your bindings and ski down to the Festkogl gondola. From here, the choice is yours - ski the varied slopes above the village, or to take a blue or red run to the ‘Top Express’ gondola and whizz across to Hochgurgl.
For the most convivial evening atmosphere (and the least times up and down stairs!), our 4-course adult evening meals here vary slightly from the norm, with a daily cheeseboard as the fourth course, replacing our normal pre-dinner canapés and apéritif.

Obergurgl Resort Info
Obergurgl skiing
Obergurgl is great for beginners and intermediates, which, along with good ski schools, makes for an excellent family ski holiday destination. One of the highest resorts in Austria at 1930m, Obergurgl has an excellent snow record and long season. Linked to Hochgurgl, there are over 100km of runs to enjoy. For more advanced skiers and boarders, there is often some nice off-piste to get that adrenalin pumping, although not much else…
Obergurgl ski resort
The resort itself is pleasing to the eye and offers a sense of alpine charm. Off snow activities are a little sparse, although après ski is jovial without being too hectic. Hotels are generally of a high standard, though there is a lack of independent restaurants (they are pretty much all part of the hotels).
