Good dynamic balance provides the crucial link between your skis and
your body. Without it you will not be able to apply the appropriate steering,
edging and pressure control.
Pathfinding
is the skill of choosing an appropriate route and reacting to the vagaries
of the slope.
Pressure control consists of manipulating the force that you put on your ski during a turn. It involves taking advantage
of centrifugal forces or dynamically modifying the pressure on your skis.
It also involves being able to control the exact point at which the forces
act.
