From his skateboarding roots, Jay first took up snowboarding six years
ago. He was working for an independent alternative sports shop on the
South Coast of England, until he took six months off three years ago.
He headed for Val d'Isère and found a job working for Precision
Ski in the rental shop. Doctor Jay then went on to develop the highly
successful snowboard department and is now seen as one the snowboard equipment
gurus of Val d'Isère.
Jay has spent many summers competing and demonstrating inline skating
in Europe. He's into nutty and aggressive sports as well as music, songwriting
and watersports. He's also quite a handy DJ and MC.
Snow Lows: Breaking both of his wrists skating, but not realising
and two years later needing to have them operated on.
Snow Highs: First day back on the hill after rehabbing the above
injuries whilst still living in Val.
